If you accept the quote provided, we will send you an invoice for a 50% non refundable deposit. Once this payment is received, we start the process by ordering in the hair. Custom orders may take approximately 4-8 weeks to complete but we will confirm this when we receive your enquiry. Upon completion, we will then invoice you for the remaining 50% plus shipping.
A note on quality:
The quality of our crocheted extensions are exceptional. They are tightly crocheted without any wax, glues or other products. Often customers will start by ordering just 3 of the pre made human hair dreads to review the quality and colours before placing a larger custom order. Whilst generally they receive excellent feedback, occasionally some people do find dreadlocks of any kind (including both their own dreaded hair and dreadlock extensions) to be uncomfortable or irritating on their skin. Usually, as your scalp adjusts this subsides for most people.
A note on colour:
If you are having trouble zooming in and viewing the colour wheel, please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au and we will email you the high resolution image for a clearer view. You are also welcome to send through a photo of your own hair so we can make a recommendation on the colour. Please note, the colour choice, even when a recommendation is given, is ultimately your responsibility. We strive to accurately capture the colours in the images but each screen or device may throw a slight variation to this.
Being Human Hair, this hair can be dyed however, please be aware that the hair goes through a chemical sanitation process and have also been lightened then dyed to reach their target colour. This can effect how well new dye will take and it can be tricky to achieve consistent results so we recommend a colour specialist is consulted. Blonde 613 also responds well to purple toner / shampoo so this is a good option if you prefer an icy blonde tone.
Ombre colour:
We can use two or more colours to achieve an ombre look and this is done by starting the dreadlock in one colour then half way down (or wherever you prefer) we then swap to the other colour. This means that whilst there is an inch or so of cross over, the transition in colour is not gradual. If there's not a huge variation between the two colours this can still look very natural.

All orders are dispatched within 24hrs of receiving payment, Monday through Friday via Australia Post.
Within Australia
Regular Post ($6.95 flat rate for any size order).
Express Post ($10.95 flat rate for any size order).
International
The shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping costs based on the weight of your order and advise you before payment is required.
New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.

Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
