Cedarwood’s soothing properties have long been used in the treatment of dandruff and scalp irritation. This combined with the antibacterial benefits of tea tree and Rosemary Oil’s ability to treat a dry, flaky scalp makes this shampoo a natural remedy in the treatment of dandruff. Of course you don’t have to suffer from dandruff to use this shampoo… we personally love this one for it’s earthly woody scents.
The base of this dread shampoo uses plant and coconut derived ingredients which thoroughly cleanses your hair leaving your dreads squeaky clean. Keeping your dreads free from oily build up is the fastest way to achieve tight, healthy dreads.
Shampoo dreadlocks as often as desired. If your dreads are new or have become loose or messy, then it is recommended that the Dread Empire Accelerator is applied after shampooing.
Once dreadlocks are dry, palm rolling is a great way to separate and shape dreadlocks. If you feel they are in need of a tidy up, you may wish to also perform maintenance on an occasional basis using a Dreadlocks Crochet Hook, Dread Empire`s Tightening Gel and Dread Dust can also be used to tame loose, frizzy hair and greatly assist in achieving neat, well groomed dreadlocks.

Ingredients: Purified Aqua, Lauryl Glucoside (plant derivative), Cocamido Propyl Betaine (coconut oil derivative), Citric Acid, Phenoxy Ethanol (Natural Preservative), Cedarwood Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil.
Use only as directed and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Dispose of product 12 months after opening.

The shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping costs based on the weight of your order and advise you before payment is required.
New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and unaltered
- Returns must be approved before being sent back
How to Arrange a Return
Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
