Dread Empire delivers the ultimate Locking & Tightening Dreadlock Accelerator with a splash of Coconut! It tightens and matures dreadlocks faster by utilising the age old accelerating properties of Sea Salt. The texturizing effect caused by the Sea Salt is balanced with the addition of Aloe Vera and Pro Vitamin B to condition and nourish the hair. This creates not only tight, smooth dreads but healthy ones too.
This formulate creates an environment for dreadlocks to thrive by opening up the cuticles which run along the hair strand. In turn, this will make the locking and knotting process so much easier as hair strands will grip to each other, tightening the knots along the way.
Spray generously through newly washed dreadlocks and allow to air or blow dry. Palm rolling on a regular basis is recommended to ensure dreads remain separated, it will help keep the dread nice and round and with a little downward pressure, it will also help to minimise excessive shrinking and lumps and bumps which is typical throughout the maturing process. If you wish to further condition or smooth down loose hairs, palm rolling with Dread Empire`s Tightening Gel or Balm is recommended.
Dreadlock Accelerator is also a must when installing new dreadlocks. After shampooing and sectioning, generously spray hair with Accelerator and allow to dry before backcombing.

New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and unaltered
- Returns must be approved before being sent back
How to Arrange a Return
Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
