Full Description
This is a great little alternative to our Dread Empire Liquid Shampoo. The Dread Empire Shampoo Bar controls oil and deeply cleans to assist the locking process. Enriched with essential oils to help eliminate dandruff and relieve itchy scalp conditions. Our shampoo is organic and free from Lauryl Sulphates.
Infused with Peppermint, Hemp & Rosemary Oil’s it smells delish leaving your locks completely revived and refreshed!
DIRECTIONS: Shampoo dreadlocks as often as desired. Either lather the bar in your hands first or swipe the bar through your dreadlocks and gently massage it into your scalp and hair. Ensure dreadlocks are thoroughly rinsed and are dried completely before tying them up. For the longevity of your shampoo bar, allow it to remain dry between uses. Dispose of the product 12 months after opening.
Once dreadlocks are dry, palm rolling is a great way to separate and shape dreadlocks. If you feel they are in need of a tidy up, you may wish to also perform maintenance on an occasional basis using a Dreading Crochet Hook, Tightening Gel and Dread Dust can also be used to tame loose, frizzy hair and greatly assist in achieving neat, well groomed dreadlocks. SIZE: Approximate weight is 150 grams. Please note that as they are hand poured and hand cut, the weight may fluctuate between 150 - 160 grams.

A note regarding hard water ~ Solid shampoo bars perform best in soft water. The minerals in highly mineralised (hard) water interact with the Shampoo and may leave the hair feeling straw like. In dreadlocks, this can actually be advantageous as it can accelerate the locking and maturing process. However, if you wish to alleviate this, following up your shampoo with a diluted rinse of Apple Cider Vinegar can help or alternatively, some of our clients with hard water prefer the Dread Empire liquid shampoo range which performs very well in hard water.
Use only as directed and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Dispose of product 12 months after opening.

All orders are dispatched within 24hrs of receiving payment, Monday through Friday via Australia Post.
Within Australia
Regular Post ($6.95 flat rate for any size order).
Express Post ($10.95 flat rate for any size order).
International
The shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping costs based on the weight of your order and advise you before payment is required.
New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and unaltered
- Returns must be approved before being sent back
How to Arrange a Return
Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
