Dreadlocks by their very nature, can result in dry, brittle and scratchy locs however, normal hair conditioners can cause build up and inhibit the locking process. Dread Empire`s Conditioning Quench kit contains our most popular conditioning products - the Conditioning + Scalp Soothing Spray and your choice of one of three flavours in our Quench Conditioning Oil range.
Dread Empire`s Conditioning Spray is packed with powerful nutrients including Pro Vitamin B which is renowned for its ability to promote moisture absorption which improves the hairs condition. Aloe Vera will soften hair and revitalise the scalp and a splash of mandarin oil is totally refreshing.
Dread Empire`s Quench conditioning oils have a Grapeseed Oil base. This oil is readily absorbed by hair and skin so it won`t leave your dreads greasy. It is packed full of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids to soften and hydrate dreadlocks and improve overall hair health. Choose one of the following three flavours:
ENERGISE: Peppermint and Lavender - such a refreshing combo! It’s hard not to feel energised with the zingy uplifting aroma of Peppermint. The more subtle floral notes of Lavender provides balance and together they can sooth irritated scalps and skin.
PEACE: Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli. The delicious floral notes of this combo calms the mind, body and soul. Lavender is also known for its calming and soothing effect on dry irritated skin.
FOREST: Cedarwood, Rosemary & Juniper Berry. Forest is the more subtle of the flavours and has a fresh earthy aroma. This blend of essential oils promotes hair growth and has antibacterial qualities.
Also included in this kit are our number 1 accessory! Dread Cuffs are expandable to fit almost any size dread. They are also a great way to hide lumps and bumps.

10 x Silver Dread Cuffs (please treat cuffs as you would costume jewellery, it is best to remove before exposing them to water, salt water and salt based products to avoid them tarnishing or rusting).
Use only as directed and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Dispose of product 12 months after opening.

All orders are dispatched within 24hrs of receiving payment, Monday through Friday via Australia Post.

The shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping costs based on the weight of your order and advise you before payment is required.
New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and unaltered
- Returns must be approved before being sent back
How to Arrange a Return
Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
