As we've recently revised our extension making techniques and sourced more consistent high quality human hair, our old stock is heavily reduced and on sale! Our clearance stock is stiffer and not as soft as our new stock however, with wear and in time, they do tend to become a little more flexible. If the your budget allows, our recommendation is always to go with our regular range for superior comfort and wear.
LENGTH/SIZE: 40cm / 16" long and the approximate thickness is as per the image.
WHAT TO EXPECT: You'll find these extensions a little stiffer and less soft than our new range however, with wear, they become more flexible and softer in time. Shampooing them, wearing them up etc all contribute to the maturing process. The durability of these extensions is outstanding and they can be worn long term. We encourage you to review the dreadlocks when they arrive, check out the look and feel and even shampoo one to gain a better understanding of how they behave. We accept returns on only unused dreadlock extensions which are in their original condition - please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you wish to return them.
COLOUR & TONING: Human hair dreadlocks can be dyed, however, due to chemical sanitation, colouring and the hair originating from various sources, it can be difficult to achieve consistent results. We therefore, recommend a colour specialist is consulted. For more information and to check out some excellent colour transformations, click here. Our Blonde dreadlocks also respond well to purple shampoo if you wish to neutralise the yellow base colour. Use purple shampoo only as needed and ensure it is rinsed out well.

MAINTENANCE: Shampoo your dreadlocks as normal. Our Dread Empire range of shampoo's deeply clean and create tight, healthy locs. It's normal for loose hairs to escape, particularly as they continue to mature and after shampooing, so use a 0.6mm crochet hook to pull the loose hairs back into the dread. Palm rolling regularly with downward pressure will help shape the dread and avoid excessive shrinking. Human hair extensions can become more dehydrated than your own hair so we recommend using Dread Empire's Conditioning Spray or Quench Conditioning Oils as needed.
INSTALLATION: Use a 0.6mm crochet hook to attach the extension to the bottom of your own dreadlock. One end of the extension is blunt/rounded whilst the other tapers off into an undreaded wispy end and either end can be used for attachment depending on how you would like the end of your dreads to be finished.

All orders are dispatched within 24hrs of receiving payment, Monday through Friday via Australia Post.
Within Australia
Regular Post ($6.95 flat rate for any size order).
Express Post ($10.95 flat rate for any size order).
International
The shopping cart will automatically work out your shipping costs based on the weight of your order and advise you before payment is required.
New Zealand orders on average take 7-12 working days.
For all other countries, please allow approximately 10-15 working days.
Customs processing and clearance in your country may impact this timeframe by a few days.
Returns Policy - (Damaged Items / Change of Mind)
We accept returns when they are arranged within 30 days of receiving your order.

Please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange your return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once your return is accepted, please ensure it it is sent back within 7 days of acceptance.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs for 'Change of Mind' are the responsibility of the customer
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. faulty or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Redelivery - (Incorrect Address / Non-Collection / Lost)
In the event we have been given an incorrect mailing address or the package is not collected, we are happy to resend your order to another address if/when it is returned to us. A redelivery fee will apply which will be the actual shipping cost, no admin restocking fees will be charged.
Lost in Transit
Occasionally, delays may occur. If your parcel has not arrived 10 business days after the estimated delivery date, we can escalate the matter with Australia Post for investigation. Depending on the outcome, we will either resend your order or issue a refund.
